Geological conditions and working technologyresulting from them in Rozna deposit are specific in miningsteeply dipped ore bearing zones in face blocks of about 50 to60 m of inclined length and of 50 to 60 m width. When solvingmining effects on mine surface it has been proved that at suchconditions conventional procedures such as those applied forinstance for conditions of sedimentary hard coal deposits are not applicable.Based on long-term geodetic measurements within Rozna'deposit new conceptions of mechanisms leading to emergenceof subsidence hollow were developed. In the present articlesuch mechanisms are discussed and based on them amathematical model was elaborated enabling prediction ofsurface subsidence hollow development The results ofmodelling are compared with actual measuring values.
