During the Second World War the Factory had beendestroyed and then, fifty years ago, in 1949, the Factory startedto be rebui machines were brought in and- first of all the newstaff was trained. In a short time CHOFUM became a well-known producer of castings for machine tools. The Factory canbe proud of its production of cylinders (with the diameterdimensions coming to 2500 mm and lengths of up to 7500 mm)for the paper and food industries. Being a well-known in theworld supplier of difficult machinery castings and one of thefew producers of cylinders for the paper industry CHOFUM hasgot all the necessary quality certificates.
