摘要

In the article a review of the research works being carried out as well as of the existing mathematical models of the I stage of the die casting process was done. Own model research of the process stage being discussed, was presented; it was carried out on the special laboratory stand. On the basis of the obtained results the fundamental Garber's model was modified through the introduction of an coefficient taking into account the liquid metal viscosity.
