Quantum Superfield Theory and Lattice Weyl Transform in Nonequilibrium Quantum Transport Physics

摘要

Quantum superfield theoretical technique in quantum dynamics offers a general formulation of nonequilibrium many-body quantum physics in real-time axis, in contrast with the use of time-contour approach in previous formalisms. When coupled with the author's lattice Weyl transform methodology in solid-state theory, the resulting formalism have been shown to be a powerful theoretical basis for computational nanoscience and nanotechnology, where ultrafast and highly nonlinear behavior due to quantum effects are the dominant mechanisms. We give a review of the formalism and discuss some of its successful applications in analyzing highly nonlinear and ultrafast THz nanodevices. We also elucidate the fundamental aspects of the lattice Weyl transform technique and discrete phase space quantum mechanics.
