Cattle immunology: The immune response to viruses

摘要

The majority ot experimental immunology is carried out in the mouse model or on human cells. For this reason, the basic mechanisms of an immune response to a virus are best defined in these species. However, whilst all the domestic species have some notable 'peculiarities' in their immune systems, the basic mechanisms underlying anti-viral immunity remain the same in the bovine.
