Long Peptides and Multiple Scales on the Overture~TM Robotic Peptide Library Synthesizer

The Overture~TM is the first robotic peptide library synthesizer that can synthesize multiple scales in the same synthesis. In addition, it can also synthesize high purity peptides greater than 15-20 amino acids in length. In this article, the 45-74 fragment of the acyl carrier protein (~(65-74)ACP} was synthesized on the Overture~TM at the 5 and 20 u.mol scales simultaneously, and the 31-mer C-peptide was synthesized on the Overture~TM with similar crude purity as the non-robotic Symphony~R.
