The article contains an interview of Valentina Semenyuk, the Chairman of the special audit commission on privatization of Verkhovna Rada. The interview describes modern state of Ukrainian privatization and outlooks of its development. Reasons of low competitiveness and inefficiency of objects' sale as well as problems of state property register creation and search of competent owner for companies are discussed. The examples of successful privatization are enumerated. The material is accompanied with comments of Mikhail Chechetov, Head of State Property Fund, and Vladimir Chernyak, People's Deputy of Ukraine. Statistical reference notes of the State Property Fund on results of privatization and state budget revenues from objects' sales are also provided herewith.
