'BIG E' BACK IN BUSINESS

THE colliery known as "Big E" is back in business - with the E standing for enterprise in a significant new initiative to encourage job creating companies to move to the UK COAL-owned site. More than 800,000 pounds is being invested to convert and upgrade 3,500sq ft of office accommodation on the former Ellington Colliery site, with eight business units being provided in the first phase. A number of companies have already expressed interest in moving to the site.
