SOUTH Yorkshire business leaders are backing UK COAL plans for the development of a new community of 4,000 homes on the biggest brownfield site in the region. Rotherharn and Barnsley Chamber of Commerce is supporting proposals to redevelop the former Waverley-Orgreave site, the scene of epic confrontations between striking miners and the police almost 25 years ago.
