Like many other western world people working in the chemical sector, I have witnessed the miraculous growth of China in recent decades. I often recall the time I worked in Hong Kong, a sort of window overlooking a yet unknown world, which even then, it was the '80s and '90s, showed signs of a development that would have soon surprised the whole world. A very rapid development that continues to surprise for the size of the phenomenon. It's not just a matter of how big China's chemical sector growth is, it's also about growing quality and organisation.
