Beacon shines light on purchase, valuation estimates, and coal distribution center site

Beacon Energy has finalized and completed the purchase of 100 percent of the coal rights for two parcels of land totaling 1,020 acres in Westmoreland County, PA. The coal forms part of the Upper and Thick Freeport Coal Seams in Western Pennsylvania. Beacon plans to contract a qualified mining company to secure the maximum amount of coal output using longwall methods of extraction.
