Xcel is looking for an individual to join its Fuel Supply department in Denver. The successful candidate will be responsible for coal, biomass, nuclear fuel procurement planning and fuel administration for Public Service of Colorado, Northern States Power and Southwestern Public Service jurisdictions, as well as all Xcel Energy OTC procurement transactions. Responsibilities include: Negotiates terms and conditions of coal supply, coal transportation and coal handling contracts, biomass and nuclear fuel as delegated by director Fuel Supply Operations and regional managers; Preliminarily evaluation of coal quality characteristics for recommendation in testing programs.
