United Maritime Group selling portion of company to Bulk Handling USA

United Maritime Group has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its wholly owned subsidiary, U.S. United Bulk Terminal, to Bulk Handling USA, an affiliate of Oiltanking Holding Americas. The aggregate purchase price for the deal is approximately 215 million dollars in cash. Located in Davant, LA, UBT is the largest dry bulk terminal on the Lower Mississippi River, with more than 11 million tons of annual throughput capacity.
