China is no longer a choice destination for Colombian thermal and coking coal - hardly surprising considering the rising epidemic of cargo deferrals and outright cancellations by Chinese traders, utilities and steel companies. "We're not doing much business there at all and I don't know of any other Colombian exporters who are," a Colombian official told U.S. Coal Review. "You can't do business in a country where buyers don't honor purchase commitments. That's crawling out on the limb a little too far."
