CONSOL Energy takes bigger plunge into natgas business with tender to buy remaining shares of CNX Gas

As many had anticipated and as the company had indicated it was considering, CONSOL Energy has gone all-in with its gas business. CONSOL has moved conditionally to acquire under a tender offer to launch May 5 all of the shares of CNX Gas the Pittsburgh-based coal producer doesn't already own. CONSOL would pay approximately 363.4 million dollars.
