Coal's demise is overblown, according to one significant Southeastern buyer whose views have earned considerable credibility over the years. The source thinks the natural gas threat might be overblown. "October starts with a black Friday, highlighted by Ontario Hydro's idling of 2000 megawatts of coal-fired generation ," the buyer acknowledged. "As Lee Corso says on ESPN College Gameday, let me cite 'not so fast my friend' to the voices that say coal is to be sacrificed even more to natural gas in 2011."
