Wabash Valley Power acquires from Duke Wabash River unit

Wabash Valley Power, a generation and transmission cooperative located in Indianapolis, recently acquired one of the units at the Wabash River combined-cycle generating station from Duke Energy. The acquisition will help Wabash Valley to serve the wholesale power needs of its 28 local distribution cooperatives in a five-state area.
