Few U.S. Coal Review sources appear to be bearish on the global coking coal market in 2010, but at least one would like to play devil's advocate. Knowledgeable players in the met market continue to tout earlier production cuts, the large volume of imports by China and India and expected steel recovery in the U.S. and Europe as factors in what is expected to keep supply extremely tight and high-priced. But is there a chance demand could level off or fall early next year? It's possible, says one source.
