Shaanxi Commenced the Construction of First 1,4-Butylene Glycol Project

The Shaanxi Chemical Stock Co.under Shaanxi Coal Chemical Group started in December 2006 the construction of the first in Shaanxi province 30 kt/a 1,4-butanediol (BDO) unit,operation of which is slated for June 2008.This project will use methanol and hydrogen currently provided by the Shaanxi Chemical Stock Co.as the feedstocks based on the acetylene aldehyde method.
