The process design package for energy conservation revamp of PTA unit at SINOPEC Yangzi Branch Company has passed the technical appraisal organized by Sinopec Corp.on June 17,2006 in Beijing.In early 2005 Yangzi Petrochemical Company on account of the high energy consumption of the PTA unit decided while being fully propped up by the existing equipment and technology to adopt its R&D achievements related with the PTA package technology in order to realize the project:"Development of PDP for energy conservation revamp of PTA unit at Yangzi Petrochemical Co." in a bid to save the energy,reduce the material consumption and enhance the economic-technical indicators.
