I n most cases, for challenged projects there are three key themes to the issues: governance, communication and focus on delivering the scope. All of these involve the customer, wider stakeholders and the management structures of the organization. When the quality professional understands how the communication side of a project works, the reviews of the project can highlight areas that might have been missed. If the project manager has the support of a good quality management professional some of the potential stumbling blocks can be revealed and removed before they trip up the project team.
