We have witnessed a significant change in the role of the quality function over the years, so a panel of academic experts and practitioners was asked to discuss the topic, “What does the future hold for quality professionals in organisations of the 21st century?” The participants included leading practitioners and academics in the field. Most of the participants had more than 30 years' experience in quality and related disciplines.
