Almost half of quality professionals in the US are unfamiliar with the concepts of corporate social responsibility even after the publication of new CSR guid?ance standard ISO 26000, according to survey results from the American Society for Quality A survey of more than 1,000 ASQ members and the quality community has revealed that 40% felt they had little or no understanding of the theories behind CSR, and 42% said that while their organisation was engaging with CSR to some extent, it didn't have a fully integrated strategy.
