ISO 9001 certifications top one million

More than one million ISO 9001 certifications have been awarded to organi?sations all over the world, according to the latest figures from the International Organisation for Standardisation. The ISO Survey of Certifications 2009, published on 25 October, reveals that at the end of 2009 there were at least 1,064,785 ISO 9001 certificates is?sued in 178 countries around the world - 80,000 more than in 2008.
