ISO 9001:2000 requires companies to manage their quality systems from a business process perspective. Eventually all companies will have to manage their QMSs this way. Barry Fisher, senior lecturer at Loughborough University, describes a straightforward way in which companies can develop and document a quality system to conform to the new ISO 9000.
