ISO/TC22 (road vehicles) is given an airing in this month's ISO Bulletin. The chairman of the committee, Paul Serre, reports on reaching a symbolic threshold of 500 published standards and pledges his enthusiasm for such a venerable and, paradoxically, young committee as it prepares to draft its very first business planFirst, the statistics: the committee was founded 54 years ago, the same year as ISO, and over the years 11 directly linked working groups have operated under its direction. This count has grown to 85 working groups and 22 active sub committees, making ISO/TC22 one of the most prolific bodies within ISO.
