Antibody drug conjugate: a new set of handling and quality control measures

There is rapidly growing interest in developing conjugated drugs that link biological molecules to highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs) for the treatment of cancer. However, the manufacture and handling of these highly cytotoxic conjugates represent a major challenge, particularly the major containment required to ensure that employees and the environment are protected from exposure, while also proteeting the product.
