Major integrated containerboard producers: have been pushing through their $30/ton West Coast price hike on corrugating medium first announced in April due to tightening supply in the region. The price increase has been taking hold on non-contract business with major integrated suppliers where customers do not have contract protection or can still buy from smaller independent mills shipping into the region from the East at unchanged prices.
