UPM moves ahead on label paper-focused 360,000 tonne PM In China

After finishing a 30,000 tonnes/yr capacity addition this year at its label base paper mill in Finland, UPM this week said it will further expand, with a new 360,000 tonnes/yr machine by yearend 2014 in possibly the fastest growing emerging market in the world for labels — China. The project, at UPM's Changshu mill in China, is to cost 390 million euros. The mill is in eastern China in Jiangsu province.
