Export OCC off $50 in two months to $220-227 to main ports in China

Exported US old corrugated containers (OCC) continued falling, even after the Chinese national holiday ended, and was down to its lowest level in almost two years at $220-227/tonne to a main port in China, contacts said. Since early August, US OCC to China is down $50 and down $30 in the last two weeks in the major export hubs of Los Angeles and New York/New Jersey. Bulk grade pricing to China was down $30-50 over the last two weeks.
