Offset price hike is rolling out into a more stable market

Uncoated freesheet (UFS) prices achieved "status quo... finally," in September, one broker said, as demand appeared to improve from prior months and producers began to invoice a 40/ton price increase on offset rolls. Market contacts said the mid-month increase was being implemented but it was too soon to show higher prices for September.
