Two key permits granted for Cosmopolis mill;Charlestown ready to buy

Weyerhaeuser's 140,000 tonnes/yr Cosmopolis,WA,dissolving pulp mill could restart before yearend or in January 2008 at the latest,according to the managing partner of an investment company that would manage the mill with a significant ownership stake.Charlestown Investments'Richard Bassett said last week that he has already agreed on a purchase price for the mill and must work out final details with Weyerhaeuser.
