A number of North American premium uncoated freesheet producers have announced price increases of around 60/ton(3/cwt)on text and cover,and similar grades for the first half of June to offset rising costs.The latest price hike follows an earlier round of increases in early January.Mohawk Fine Papers,Neenah Paper,Fox River Paper,Domtar,and Monadnock Paper Mills are among producers announcing the 3/cwt increase.In some cases,producers also raised prices 4-5/cwt on some grades with special shades or finishes.A couple of the producers hiked 100% cotton content paper by 5/cwt(100/ton).
