Pricing for U.S. recovered paper largely remained unchanged in November with some pressure on old corrugated containers (OCC) and old newspapers (ONP) No.8 - and both buyers and sellers expected that price pressure would escalate across most materials next month and probably into be first quarter of next year. Mills across the country were taking downtime, especially in the two largest sectors that use recovered paper: newsprint and containerboard.
