US kraft paper shipments jump 11% in February

US kraft paper shipments in February jumped by 11% to 126,000 tons compared with year ago levels, helped by strong export demand, American Forest & Paper Assn statistics indicate. Exports of unbleached kraft paper jumped by 41% in February from a year ago and were up 27% year-to-date.
