OCC to China perches back up to $270-275; US mills are chasing

Old corrugated container (OCC) pricing to China shot up another $10 in the last week to $270-275/tonne delivered to a main port in China — the highest mark since March's $290. Pricing is up almost $25 since the start of this month. FAS levels yesterday were $220-223/ton at the Port of Long Beach, CA, $205-208 at the Port of Oakland, CA, and $200-208 at the ports in New York/New Jersey.
