Acme installs a 98-in. corrugator at its Philadelphia area plant

Acme Corrugated Box installed a 98-in Fosber corrugator at its 235,000 ft~2 plant in Hatboro, PA, that replaces two 68-in. 10-year-old Agnati corrugators, said company pres Bob Cohen. He said the new corrugator dramatically increases the plant's throughput and allows rapid order changes to respond to the market on a "real time" basis. Incorporated in 1938, Acme employs 170 and sells product in the Northeast market from its Philadelphia area base. Management includes Cohen's two sons, Erik and Jeremy, who are third generation family members.
