Majors Domtar and Resolute Forest Products (Resolute) separately informed North American customers that they'd increase prices on their paper grade bleached softwood kraft (BSK) market pulp by $20/tonne, effective Feb. 1, industry contacts said. Domtar made the first move, on Jan. 29 that its northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) list price would rise to $960/tonne with the $20 increase.
