摘要

US legislators in Maine are pressing the US Dept of Commerce (DOC) to include Irving Paper and Catalyst Paper in its investigation of Canadian supercalendered paper (SC) subsidies, which currently focuses on Port Hawkes-bury Paper and Resolute Forest Products. US Senators Susan Collins, R-ME, and Angus King, I-ME, and Congressman Brace Poliquin, R-ME, told DOC Secretary Penny Pritzker in a letter this week that the current investigation is "overly limited in scope," and that not investigating all four Canadian SC producers would be "unfair and inconsistent" with statutory regulations governing countervailing duty investigations.
