Environment certification standards in the works for forest products firms

SCS Global Services (SCS) has been tapped by the North American Environmental Paper Network (EPN) to steer the develop- merit of product category rules for round-wood, market pulp, and paper products. These product category-specific rules are for life cycle assessment studies, and reporting associated environmental and human health impacts in Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
