St. Croix Tissue, which plans two new-tissue paper machines over the next two years, gained $7.5 million toward the new PMs financing from the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME), St. Croix plans to integrate the two PMs to pulp made at the former Domtar Woodland mill in Bai-leyville. The new PMs will be on site at the pulp mill. FAME and-St. Croix Tissue this week closed on a deal for FAME to issue the $7.5 million taxable bond supported by the obligation of the state of Maine through FAME's major business expansion program. The new St. Croix PMs would be the first ones in tissue made by a Chinese company, which purchased the Woodland mill.
