Slower economic growth now expected, with 2Q forecast down to 3.3%

US real GDP growth is expected to be 3.3% in the second quarter, in a lower showing than first forecast. RISI macroeconomics dir David Katsnelson told PPI Pulp & Paper Week that he reduced his second quarter growth forecast from 4% to 3.3%. He expects 3.1% real GDP growth in the third quarter.
