Xerox reported a 5% increase in the second quarter (vs second quarter 2012 revenue) in its services business, which included 4% growth from business process outsourcing, and 6% growth in document outsourcing. The services revenue represents 55% of Xerox's total revenue. Xerox chmn and CEO Ursula Burns said in a release that services contract signings increased 40% in the quarter. Xerox reported a 5% decline in revenue from the company's document technology business. "The company benefitted from the full rollout of its ConnectKey platform of printers and multifunction devices, expanded distribution through channel partners, and increased demand for its digital production presses," Xerox said in a release.
