OCC continues to hold at $223-225 to China

Ongoing concerns about Europe's economy, soft inbound cargo shipments as well as recovered paper generation, and slow global packaging demand were cited for largely holding old corrugated containers (OCC) price levels for the past four months. The FAS level for OCC at the US's largest export ports-in Los Angeles and Long Beach in Southern California ranged tightly around 188-193/ton from early March through June 1. Those levels are down $35 vs levels a year earlier.
