Waste Management Recycle America (WMRA), as part of its effort to grow its recovery of recyclables by 150% by 2020, gained approval this week for developing a $30 million, 30,000 ft2 single-stream material recovery facility (MRF) in Kansas, and plans to open other new MRFs in Los Angeles, San Antonio, and eastern Canada, all by yearend.
