Boxmakers pushing back against RPC inroads in agricultural packaging

North American and European corrugated players are starting to push back against the growing threat from returnable plastic containers (RPCs), particularly in the agricultural market, according to three speakers representing the US, Canadian, and European corrugated associations at the Fibre Box Association's (FBA) 75th anniversary meeting in Chicago this week. "We have been silent for many years and let the competition speak on our behalf," FBA pres Dennis Colley said.
