摘要

Specialty dissolving pulp (DP) and fluff producer Buckeye Technologies shareholders approved a merger with Georgia-Pacific (G-P) on Aug. 15, which will result in Buckeye becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of G-P and mark the Atlanta-headquartered firm's entry into the DP sector. Buckeye said more than 84% of its shareholders approved the "long form" merger, which is a $37.50/share and roughly $1.5 billion deal.
