Boise expands system, with a new 110-in corrugator for Waco, TX

Boise announced plans to further expand its corrugated converting capacity, adding to speculation among analysts that it may be close to moving ahead with the long-planned conversion of an idle newsprint machine at its DeRidder, LA, mill. The company said it is planning to install a 110 in. corrugator at its Central Texas Corrugated (CTC) sheet feeder plant in Waco, TX, for completion in the third quarter of this year.
