PCA completes nearly $2 billion Boise purchase; Amcor to spinoff Orora

Packaging Corp of America (PCA) completed its acquisition of Boise at $12.55/ share in a deal valued at $1,995 billion (including $714 million of debt). The combined company headquartered in Lake Forest, IL, will remain the fourth largest producers of containerboard and corrugated boxes in North America but also becomes the third largest producer of un-coated freesheet paper.
