RISI Oct. 4 CEO panel adds Oomtar's Williams with CNG's Wallach

A CEO panel - with the top executives from three of the largest seven US firms - is now full for RISI's 26* annual North American Forest Products and Pulp and Paper Conference, which is to run Oct. 3-5 at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston. In the last week, Domtar CEO John Williams and Central National Gottes-man's Ken Wallach were signed on for the hourlong panel discussion before lunch on the conference's first full day on Thursday, Oct. 4. Along with Williams, whose firm is the largest North American producer of uncoated freesheet papers and one of the largest in market pulp, and Wallach, whose firm is one of the largest global traders of pulp and paper products selling in more than 75 countries, and is also the largest independent paper merchant in the USA, are RockTenn pres/CEO Jim Rubright, Resolute Forest Products pres/CEO Richard Garneau, and Sappi North America pres/CEO Mark Gardner. Rubright's firm is the second largest containerboard and corrugated box maker in North America, Garneau's company is the largest newsprint producer and a large market pulp supplier, and Gardner's firm is No. 3 coated printing and writing papers and pulp player as well.
